MECHANICJob Summary
• To provide repair and maintenance support to all vehicles of the organization.
• Reports to the Logistics Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintains and repairs the vehicles of the Company.
• Develops and conducts daily and monthly preventive maintenance inspections of Company vehicles to prevent costly breakdowns.
• Assess and develops repair programs and schedules on a per vehicle basis.
• Create a Vehicle Maintenance Scorecard Report.
• Maintain a vehicle history file folder taking into account all repairs and maintenance details done to the vehicle.
• Evaluate all drivers’ performances in handling vehicles.
• Conducts orientation to all drivers regarding vehicle condition, care and management.
• Canvasses vehicle spare parts as required.
• Troubleshoots any vehicle that requires repair.
• Safe keeps all tools and equipments assigned.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or instructed by the Logistics Supervisor and Operations Manger.
