R & D Assistant

- Provide support in execution of research & development projects to achieve desired results, ensuring implementation of strategies supporting the Department Goals & Objectives.
- Assist in the management of the Color Tolerance Standards System by conducting the quality inspection and preparation of color tolerance standards covering product development projects and regular updating requirement for all packaging jobs.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Color Tolerance Standards System through activities that support effective monitoring, control and update.
- Maintain quality documents, records and samples ensuring proper organization as defined in the quality management system. Ensure safety, orderliness, cleanliness and ease of use.
- Assist in the various activities to support Materials Development - R&D; operations and facilitate immediate completion of needed services.
- Participate in problem solving and process improvement projects within the manufacturing environment. Support and participate in activities that aim to sustain awareness of quality among all employees.
- Graduate of Technical Course / 2 Year Course
- Work experience as QA or QC Inspector in a manufacturing plant setting preferred. Knowledge in printing is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of printing processes and / or manufacturing systems.
- Sound knowledge of research standards development fundamentals. quality concepts, quality management systems and total quality management.
